WiscVPN GlobalProtect (iOS) - Troubleshooting
This document describes some troubleshooting steps for Palo Alto GlobalProtect users on iOS.
Basic Troubleshooting
- Make sure you are using the WiscVPN portal address: uwmadison.vpn.wisc.edu
- Make sure you are using your NetID (do not include @wisc.edu) and NetID password to sign in.
- Follow instructions to uninstall and reinstall GlobalProtect at WiscVPN GlobalProtect (iOS) - Installing, Connecting, and Uninstalling
Check for other VPN profiles
Other anti-virus or VPN apps may have created VPN profiles that can affect GlobalProtect.
Follow the following steps to remove other VPN profiles.
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Tap General, then tap VPN.
- If anything other than GlobalProtect appears, tap it to open the configuration menu.
- Select Delete VPN.
