This document details website support at Russell Labs.

Russell Labs no longer provides website support at the department level. All existing sites were either retired or moved elsewhere (DoIT or CALS Web Services).
Websites are available at the college level through CALS Web Services. Please use this form to contact them.
How to Tell if Your Site is Hosted by CALS Web Services
Sites hosted at CALS will have a dark gray login bar at the very bottom of all pages, with Login, Request Help, and Help Docs links
Neither hosting provider will write or edit content for you. They will answer questions about your site, and offer training on how to maintain the content on your site.
Please plan ahead, as both hosting providers serve wide audiences and stay quite busy.
The Russell Labs Hub will not update the content on your site, or redesign your site for you.
Please direct questions about content on the department websites to:
- Questions on sites hosted at CALS, or obtaining a new site, should be directed to CALS Web Services through this form.
- Questions about sites hosted at DoIT should be directed to the DoIT Help Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- "I'm a former student or I worked in a lab. I created a site, but didn't save a copy. I can't find the site now, want you to find it and restore it for me."
That's not a service we offer. Check the Wayback Machine in the Internet Archive to see if they made a copy. Websites do not live forever, and they require ongoing maintenance to keep them compliant with campus and federal laws.
If you leave sites behind with no maintenance plans, you have abandoned them. Abandoned sites are subject to removal.
