SMPH Recruitment Slow Down

We are quickly approaching the “Slow Down” phase of our cutover process to Workday.  Below is some detailed information regarding the impacts of the Slow Down phase on recruitment.

Please review and share the following cutover guidance and timelines for recruitment activities with your change to hiring managers. KB: Recruitment Cutover 

Recruitment slowdown starts in April to minimize the number of open jobs prior to Workday transition. If you are requesting to fill a position, think about if the recruitment could be completed with an accepted offer prior to 6/20/2025. If the recruitment cannot be completed with an accepted offer prior to 6/20/2025, we will either need to:

  • re-post the position in Workday (if no finalist has been identified) or
  • continue to screen the current applicant pool in TREMS and once a finalist has been identified enter the hire details into Workday after 7/7/2025. 

Though the slowdown phase is slotted to start in April, it is encouraged that you start assessing your postings now and prioritizing what needs to be posted or what can wait.

Last day to request to post a Faculty PVL, application deadline must be 7/6/2025 or earlier. Cannot extend the end date after this, or will need to post through Workday.

6/9/2025

Last day to request to post a Staff PVL, application deadline must be 7/6/2025 or earlier. Cannot extend the end date after this, or will need to post through Workday

 

Last day to request to hire via PVL waiver to hired prior to 6/28/2025

 

Keep in mind if the position falls within the position cap there is a longer approval process. 

6/13/2025

Last day to inform your HRBP/FR to do a reference check through Skillsurvey

6/21/2025 - 7/6/2025

Job posting pause. No positions will be released to employment website. Application deadline extensions will not be made past 7/6/2025.

Freeze

6/15/2025 - 7/6/2025

Avoid hires with an effective date during this time due to no system access and onboarding process

7/7/2025
