Employees required to have a Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) due to performing work in a hybrid or remote modality should submit an FWA for review in Workday. The FWA requirement applies to staff working remotely from any location, as well as faculty who are working out of state or internationally.

- All employees engaging in remote work who are required to have a FWA on file must have an approved agreement by Sept. 30, 2025, in accordance with the UW–Madison Remote Work Policy.
