Printing (macOS) - Configuring Secure Print for a Canon Copier
Follow these steps to configure the secure print feature of a Canon copier on your computer.
- Open System Settings.
- Select Printers & Scanners.
- Select the Canon copier.
If you do not see the copier in your list of printers, see Printing (macOS) - Mapping a Printer on a UW Device for steps to connect.
- Click Options & Supplies...
- Go to the Utility tab and click Open Printer Utility.
If you do not see the Utility tab, contact Technical Support for assistance.
- Click Printer Information. If you are prompted to allow finding devices on local networks, click Allow.
- Once you see the Printer Information popup, click OK to close it.
- Go to the User Information tab.
- Enter a PIN of your choosing in the "PIN for Secured Print" field.
- Click Save Settings.
