  1. Open System Settings.
  2. Select Printers & Scanners.
  3. Select the Canon copier.

If you do not see the copier in your list of printers, see Printing (macOS) - Mapping a Printer on a UW Device for steps to connect.

  4. Click Options & Supplies...
  5. Go to the Utility tab and click Open Printer Utility.

If you do not see the Utility tab, contact Technical Support for assistance.

  6. Click Printer Information. If you are prompted to allow finding devices on local networks, click Allow.
  7. Once you see the Printer Information popup, click OK to close it.
  8. Go to the User Information tab.
  9. Enter a PIN of your choosing in the "PIN for Secured Print" field.
  10. Click Save Settings.

After configuring this feature, you can choose to send a secure print job instead of a regular print job. For more information, see Printing (macOS) - Secure Printing to a Canon Copier.
