WiscIT - Getting Access to Create Request Offerings

Service Request workflows in WiscIT are managed in the “Request Offerings” workspace. This document details how to get access to create and maintain request offerings.

Who can create request offerings?

Only users logged into the Administrator or Request Offering Manager role can access the request offering space. See [Link for document 161197 is unavailable at this time] for more information about roles.

How can I get access to create request offerings?

Access to the Request Offering workspace is strictly controlled because having such access grants a technologist the ability to:

  • edit any existing request offerings (not just their own)

  • publish service request forms directly to the self-service portal

To get access to the Request Offering Manager role, please reach out to Will Crickman via Microsoft Teams. A more formal process will be established leading up to go-live.
