WiscIT - Creating Change Requests

Log into WisciT. See WiscIT - Logging into WiscIT Powered by Ivanti Neurons for more information.

Open the Change Workspace. See WiscIT - Workspaces Overview for more information.

Click the New Change Menu and select the appropriate change type. Which types are available will depend on the role selected at login. See WiscIT - Roles Overview for more information.

Fill out the required and applicable optional fields on the form.

Link at least one CI to the change record. See [LINK TO HOW TO LINK CIS TO CHANGE RECORD] for more information.

When the form information has been completed and at least one CI is linked to the Change Request, click Submit in the toolbar.

If submitting a Normal Change: the status will advanced to Pending Approval, an approval will be generated, and the approvers will be notified. If submitting an Emergency change: the status will automatically advance to Approved & Scheduled.
