WiscIT - Manually Create or Update Connection

Notice: Do not update your connection until after the system has been migrated, August 7th, starting at 7 PM

  • If you are not presented with the connection options like the image below you will first need to log in to update your connection.
    • Once logged into Cherwell, go to File->Logout and select Change Connection, this will give you a connect to Cherwell window.

To Update a connection

  • Select the connection and click Edit.
  • Update the URL to https://wiscit.wisc.edu in the URL field

  • Click Next

To Add a new connection

  • Click Add on the Connect to Cherwell Service Management Screen

  • Click Next on the Connection Wizard screen

  • Select Connect to a Cherwell Server and click Next

  • Enter https://wiscit.wisc.edu in the URL field and click Next

  • Enter "WiscIT" in the name field and click Next

  • Click Finish
