WiscIT - Creating Change Requests

This document details how to create and submit change requests in WiscIT.
  1. Log into WisciT. See WiscIT - Logging into WiscIT Powered by Ivanti Neurons for more information.

  2. Open the Change Workspace. See WiscIT - Workspaces Overview for more information.

  3. Click the New Change Menu and select the appropriate change type. Which types are available will depend on the role selected at login. See WiscIT - Roles Overview for more information.

  4. Fill out the required and applicable optional fields on the form.

  5. Link at least one CI to the change record. See [LINK TO HOW TO LINK CIS TO CHANGE RECORD] for more information.

  6. When the form information has been completed and at least one CI is linked to the Change Request, click Submit in the toolbar.

  7. If submitting a Normal Change: the status will advanced to Pending Approval, an approval will be generated, and the approvers will be notified. If submitting an Emergency change: the status will automatically advance to Approved & Scheduled.
