Slate User Group (SLUG)

This KB document serves as the central hub for the SLUG Community of Practice.

Slate User Group logo, which says SLUG, with the first two letters sort of resemble a snail.

Slate User Group
Let’s make slow things go fast.

The SLUG Community of Practice

SLUG brings together Graduate School program managers, coordinators, and other Slate power users to share ideas and expertise on how we can best use Slate within our respective programs, brainstorm new solutions and uses for Slate, provide feedback to Slate developers, and become more efficient in processing our Graduate School applications.

This community of practice is still developing and evolving. Perhaps we'll even have a logo someday that resembles a slug instead of a snail -- but that's the kind of gaffe that is somewhat emblematic of this community's modus operandi: we give it our best shot, learn from our mistakes, and then try to find ways to make it better together. (Speaking of which: if you want to flex your design skills, send us your SLUG logo ideas!)

To learn more, please review our (in-progress) SLUG Community of Practice Document and/or register for an upcoming SLUG meeting.
