CALS students may request a change of advisor at any time by talking with the department office for their major. Each major has its own guidelines for advisors, and students are advised that depending on the major, alternative advisors may not be readily available. Departmental advisors can update the student’s advisor and may contact the CALS Office of Academic Affairs for assistance. Students who are uncomfortable with their current advisor may talk with a CALS Dean-on-Call about their options.
