CHM Facilities - Meditation Room

Guidelines for using the Meditation Room at Kennedy.

The Meditation Room is Room 175 at the Kennedy Building, located on the first floor on the opposite side of the building as the front desk. We are privileged to have such a beautiful space for research and staff use. The wood used for the wall just outside and inside the room was collected from Potosi, WI from a friend of Judy from Delta. Please see below for more about guidelines for use.

Reservation and Use

To reduce conflict and ensure that research use is prioritized, we ask that folks request a reservation to use the Meditation Room.

Note that even if your event has been approved, if a research need arises this may still take precedence.

Internal Use

If you have an idea for an internal activity for other Community Members, please run this by Admin (Isa & co.) first.

Outside groups

If you would like to use this room for people from outside of CHM or a purpose that is not directly related to CHM business, please run this by Admin (Isa & co.) first. CHM use is always prioritized, but other use will be allowed if it's reasonable and presents minimal disruption and conflict. Depending on the size and nature of the event or program, it may require Division/UW approval. Please make requests well in advance to allow for these steps!
