CHM IT - Adobe Access for Undergrads/Students

How to allow student workers to use Adobe

By default, access to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Acrobat, Photoshop, etc.) is for faculty and staff only. Students (by default) do not have access.

However, on our touchdown/shared machines, we've installed the Adobe Shared Device License, which will allow non-eligible students access provided they create a separate Adobe ID.

This can be created for free by following the directions here: https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/create-update-adobe-id.html

Once the user has an Adobe ID, they can open the Adobe Creative Cloud application and login using the credentials they provided. If, at any point, they are presented with a choice between "Personal Account" and "Company or School Account", choose "Personal Account" and continue with the login.
