Instructions for using the Meeting Owl video conference camera/microphone.

The Meeting Owl, also known as the Owl, is a video conferencing device that contains a camera, microphones, and speakers. It makes video conferencing easier and is especially helpful for large groups. 

Anatomy

    • The volume controls adjust the Owl's internal speakers.
    • Do not use the multi-purpose button.
    • Two cords plug into the Owl's base: power and micro-USB.

    Setting Up

    1. Place the Owl in the center of the table. See the diagram below for more information.
    2. Plug the Owl's USB cord into the computer running the video conference.
    3. Start your video conference meeting and set the Owl as your speaker, microphone, and camera.
    4. The Owl will take a few seconds to boot up.
    5. The Owl will take a few seconds to recognize where people are sitting in the room. The Owl automatically changes who the camera focuses on based on who is speaking. It can take a few seconds for the Owl to focus the camera on a new speaker. 
    6. Once the Owl's "eyes" stop pulsing and are steadily lit, it is ready to use.

    Note: You do not need the Owl application on your device to use the Owl.
