Manually Approving System Extensions and Full Disk Access for Cisco AMP

Instructions for manually approving system extensions and full disk access for Cisco AMP on Mac
  1. Click "Open Security Preferences" in the macOS popup window

    You can also get to the settings by opening "System Preferences" and selecting "Security & Privacy"

  2. Click the lock on the bottom left corner of the window

  3. Click the "Details..." button

  4. Check the boxes for "AMP for Endpoints Service" and click "OK"

  5. A window will pop up asking to allow the AMP network filter. Click "Allow"

  6. Click the "Privacy" tab in the "Security & Privacy" window

  7. Scroll down and select "Full Disk Access"

  8. Make sure the boxes next to "ampdaemon," "Amp for Endpoints Connector," "AMP for Endpoints Service," and "AMP Security Extension" are checked

  9. Click the lock in the bottom left corner to confirm the settings

Once you've followed these steps, please restart your computer. Your antivirus will not be fully functional until you do
