Create a Black and White Printing Preset on Mac

Instructions for creating printing presets for Mac
  1. Open any program and print. If it gives you the option to print using the system dialog, select it.

  2. Scroll down to "Printer Options" open drop down and click the ⓘ next to "Quality".

  3. Set the "Color Mode" to "Black and White".

  4. If you have any other settings you would like to add to the preset, set them now.

  5. Select "Save Current Settings as Preset..." from the Presets menu.

  6. Name the preset and click "OK".

  7. Click "Print." This will make sure that the preset is selected next time you print. You can cancel the job afterwards if you'd like.
