Reader Grader entry in GNS

Process for time entry for reader graders

Instructions on how to submit time for a reader grader position in the Department of German, Nordic, and Slavic.

Your hours should be turned in on a bi-weekly basis. If you have held a student hourly position before, you may enter your hours at MyUW.  If not, hours will be emailed to Nicole Senter.   More information on emailing is at the bottom of this document.

How to determine if you are able to enter your hours via MyUW:

 Accessing Timesheet (Employee)

1a. UW-Madison: On the MyUW Madison portal, the Timesheet can be accessed through the Time and Absence app

1b. All UW: On the MyUW System portal, the Timesheet can be accessed through the Timsheet link located at the top of the Time and Absence app.

2. Click the Timesheet Link.

Note: This is the end of the procedure, see 3b for Multiple Jobs.  If you are working multiple jobs, you will need to email Nicole a breakdown of how many hours are worked for each position for tracking purposes.

3b (Multiple Jobs). If you have more than one job, you will be taken to a page requiring you to choose which job you want to enter time for.  You should look at both the Job Description and Department Description columns to determine which job to pick.  When you have found the job you want, click on the Job Description to enter into the appropriate timesheet.
