Overview of transition to Canvas

On 4.11.2017 Steel Wagstaff presented the following information on the transition to Canvas.

GNS will receive migration support Fall 2017 semester, to consist of:

  1. A kickoff meeting for all instructors
  2. Bulk migration of all courses taught in last academic year
  3. On-site office hours
  4. 1-on-1 consultation and support

At the end of your semester, our focus will shift to other departments. Please use these resources when offered so you are prepared to teach in Spring 2018.

  • Email notification about migrated course
  • Review migrated course in Canvas
  • Fix errors & prepare course for next offering
