How to Renew a Checkout in Webcheckout

Login to the patron portal. Link: https://uwmadison.webcheckout.net/sso/patron#!/

Click on the checkout (CK-#####) number under “Current Checkouts).

On the left hand side of the screen, click on the “Renew CK-#####” button.

Ensure you are happy with the end date. Note it will automatically grant the maximum time allowed.

If you would like to change it - click on the date or time and change it. Once it has been changed click on the green check mark to confirm.

Look at the bottom of the page and ensure you see “Looks Good!” with a thumbs up.

To confirm the renewal, click on the “Submit Changes” located at the bottom right hand side.
Ways to Check if the Renewal Went Through:

Look for the green banner that says “Checkout has been renewed.” in the upper right hand side of the screen.

Click on the “Home” button in the upper left hand corner. Look at the “End Time” under “Current Checkouts” and make sure it is what you expect.

Check your email for an updated return time.
