Per UW - Madison's TE Policy, the University established the City of Madison's Living Wage as our minimum salary for TE positions. The Living Wage for 2024 has increased to $15.87 per hour effective January 1, 2024.

All TE hires with a hire date on or after January 1, 2024 must be at the new City of Madison’s Living Wage rate of $15.87 per hour.

HRS will automatically increase, via a batch program, all current TEs that need to be raised to the City of Madison's Living Wage.
