Denodo: Requesting Access to Denodo
Summary and Requirements
This document provides a basic overview of the steps for requesting access to Denodo, and provides links in the Related Articles section for setting up your connection once access is granted.
It is important to note that access to Denodo does not provide access to any data domains, only the tool. Users must request access to at least one data domain in order to access any content within Denodo.
Submit Request
While data tools are technically not data domains, they can be requested using the same domain request mechanism to make requests easier to make, approve, and administer.
Note: It is recommended that you include your Denodo access in your original request for data domains - no need to submit them separately!
In order to gain access to Denodo, you will need to:
-
Add the ‘Denodo’ subdomain to your request

-
Select the ‘User’ classification, and leave Row Level Security blank (as it does not apply to this type of role)

-
Enter a justification for why you need this access (required)
-
Review and accept the compliance agreement
-
Submit your request

After Approval
Once your request has been reviewed and approved by your supervisor and the related domain approver, your access will process at the next hourly synchronization. Once the hourly synchronization completes, you can access Denodo either using the browser-based Marketplace or the data tools of your choice.
Additional information on how to establish a connection using different tools can be found in the Related Articles section.
