This document provides details of some sites that students and staff can use to update their emergency contact information. It is important that all UW faculty, staff, and students provide emergency contact information as well as local address.
Student Information System
Students can update information in SIS in the Student Center. Sign into MyUW then select the Student Center tile. From the Student Center, click on the "Profile" tile to update your information.
Human Resources System
Faculty and staff can update their information in HRS via the MyUW portal. Sign into MyUW then select the Personal Information tile. Click on "Update my Personal Information" to visit the HRS website and update your personal details.
Terra Dotta Users and Visa Holders
Note: Not all Terra Dotta users hold a visa, and not all visa holders are in the Terra Dotta system.
Terra Dotta updates contact information based on what is listed in a user's UW profile. F and J international students can update their immigration record by accessing their MyUW portal and launching the Student Center application. J1 scholars and H1B employees do not have student status and thus should follow employee instructions to update their information (as listed above).
Follow the instructions found at Student Center- Emergency Contact Information to update your personal and emergency contact information. The changes will be reflected in Terra Dotta within a 24-hour period.
