Office 365 - Unable to manage resource calendar permissions

We are currently experiencing an issue where a resource owner is unable to manage calendar permissions. We have confirmed that this is occurring across many resources within our environment.
Microsoft is aware and confirmed this issue and is currently working on a solution - there is no workaround.
[Update 1/12/2018] Microsoft fixed a bug which caused this issue. They have provided the recommended steps to reset these permissions - Documentation has been created for those users who need to manage resource calendar permissions: [Link for document 79222 is unavailable at this time].
