This document describes the correct way to log in to UW-Madison G Suite.
The steps below explain how to log in to UW-Madison G Suite. If you are using an Office 365 service account, an additional way to log in is described here.
Log into UW-Madison G Suite with your NetID@wisc.edu account, no password, and hit enter. You will then be directed to the UW-Madison login page.
If you have multiple UW-Madison G Suite accounts, select your desired account from the list provided.
If you only have one UW-Madison G Suite account, you will be logged into your account automatically.
If you have an Office 365 service account that is linked to your NetID, you can log in to G Suite using the instructions above. If you want to access UW-Madison G Suite with an Office 365 service account that is not linked your NetID, follow the instructions below to log in.
Navigate to the UW-Madison G Suite login page: https://apps.google.wisc.edu
If you are already logged in to the NetID login service with your NetID, you may be automatically re-directed to the linked account login screen, as seen below.
If this occurs, click "Logout" and re-enter the URL.
If you are automatically logged in to UW-Madison G Suite with your @wisc.edu account, you may need to clear your browser's cache and cookies, then try again.
Enter the web login credential (e.g., receptionist_doit for firstname.lastname@example.org) and password for your service account.
When you log in to UW-Madison G Suite for the first time, you will see a message similar to the one below.
Since the University does not have Gmail enabled, portions of this warning that mention email do not apply to UW-Madison G Suite. The UW-Madison G Suite team does not monitor content stored in or created using G Suite.
Click I accept. to finish logging in.
