UW-Madison faculty, staff, researchers, and departments are eligible for  CCI Private Cloud services.

Billing for CCI Private Cloud virtual servers is done based on resource (CPU, memory, storage) allocation, not resource consumption. There is an additional charge for commercial operating system licenses. While CCI Private Cloud rates are published as per year costs, virtual servers are billed per hour. A virtual server that only exists for 24 hours, will be billed for 24 hours of resource allocation, not one year of resource allocation.
