Engage - Support and Documentation (UW-Madison)
The Unizin Engage tool will be used for the Spring 2018 UW-Madison eText pilot. If you are not participating in the pilot or taking a class in the pilot you will not have access to Engage. For more information on the pilot please see the Educational Innovation web page.
This document outlines how to access Unizin Engage documentation and how to get additional help at UW-Madison
Unizin Engage works best when accessed online via the Firefox or Chrome web browsers. For support questions during the pilot about Unizin Engage please contact the DoIT Help Desk:
If Help Desk staff are unable to resolve your issue they will escalate your issue to the appropriate consultants. Instructors participating in the pilot will also be given access to a Canvas course which will include additional helpful information
If you are using publisher digital learning tools (DLT) like Pearson Mastering Physics and MyLab or Cengage MindTap support is provided directly from the publisher. More information on where to get DLT support is available in this KB doc next to the publisher name under "Who Provides Support".
You can access UW-Madison authored Engage help documentation in the UW-Madison KnowledgeBase. Unizin's more extensive "how to" documentation for Engage is available on Unizin's website. You can also access this material when you are in Engage. From the Engage home page click the circle with your initials or photo. Then click the Help button:
Click the Students or Instructors icon to view Unizin's Engage documentation relevant to your role.
