Recording audio in Powerpoint
SOP's preferred method of recording audio for online presentations.
If this is the first time you are recording this way, please record one slide and check the play back quality or send us a one slide sample so we can verify the audio quality from your device. (Occasionally there is distortion from the laptop mics and we could propose alternatives.)
Menu - You have options for recording and options for delivery. Click on link if you want to jump to specific directions or scroll through to decide.
A. Record Slide Show or Record Slides individually
B. Export mp4 video file or request IIT support..
*Mac users, you must have Microsoft 365 installed for the mp4 export to work. See directions here: https://kb.wisc.edu/helpdesk/54416
