LastPass - How to delete a Shared Folder

After you migrate to 1Password and have validated all your secrets are accurately migrated, it is suggested you delete your LastPass Shared Folders. This ensures your account data isn't left behind. LastPass accounts won't be deleted when the UW-Madison license expires, they'll be converted to free accounts but they will not be able to access Shared Folders, which requires an enterprise license.

Warning: Please be aware that permanently deleting your Shared Folder cannot be undone.

It is strongly recommended that you migrate to 1Password and migrate your Shared Folders before proceeding, as this operation cannot be undone.

There are two steps to permanently delete a LastPass Shared Folder. The first step moves the Shared Folder to a "deleted shared folder repository" and the second step purges the folder and its contents from LastPass. We recommend a full deletion to ensure no data remains with LastPass.
