SMPH VPN - Connecting to GlobalProtect from a Mac computer

Connecting to the GlobalProtect Client

  • Click the GlobalProtect icon on the (top right) menu bar.

  • If it’s not already there, enter the following Portal Address: smph.vpn.wisc.edu

GlobalProtect Portal Address

  • Click the Connect.
  • Enter your UW Madison NetID credentials, then click the Sign In button.

GlobalProtect Sign In credentials

  • Enter the number 1 to send a Duo Push to device, or enter a MFA-DUO passcode generated from your device app.

  • GlobalProtect should show the following message, when properly connected:
