This document provides general information on getting help with the Qualtrics Survey Hosting Service.

Getting Help with Qualtrics

Questions, problems or outages related to the survey software are handled by Qualtrics support.

If you have questions about using the Qualtrics survey software or data analysis tools you can look for answers on the Qualtrics Survey Support Site.

You can also request help directly from Qualtrics Support Staff. Qualtrics offers support via chat for an immediate response, phone call-back with a 10 minute response or email support with a response within 24-48 hours:

Self-service Support Options:

North American Phone Support: Effective August 19, 2020, Qualtrics Support will require you to login to their Online Support Center from your UW-Madison Qualtrics account and request a call back in order to receive phone support. Please refer to Choosing a Support Method for more information.

When to request help from UW-Madison Brand Administrators or DoIT Help Desk

  • Individuals who would like to transfer ownership of surveys to another UW-Madison account should refer to UW-Madison Qualtrics - Transfer ownership of your survey for more information.
  • For assistance with creating or updating groups of Qualtrics users please refer to UW-Madison Qualtrics - Groups.
  • Individuals who are experiencing problems or receive error messages during the NetID login process should contact the DoIT Help Desk for assistance. See Get Help from DoIT for details.
  • For other assistance from the UW-Madison Qualtrics Brand Administrators please contact the DoIT Help Desk.
