How to appeal a parking ticket (citation)
Anyone may submit an appeal for a parking ticket issued by UW Transportation Services.
Appeal online
- Log in to the eBusiness parking portal.
- Those with a valid NetID or UW Health ID choose Employee or Student Login.
- Those without a NetID (campus visitors) choose Guest Login.
- Those with a valid NetID or UW Health ID choose Employee or Student Login.
- Click CITATIONS on the top menu to begin the appeal or payment process. Follow the prompts to complete your appeal or payment.
Submit a bond payment (if required)

- If you logged in as a guest, you will be required to submit a cash bond in the amount of the citation or payment with the citation appeal. You may need to log back in to the guest account after paying the bond to complete the appeal. If the citation is upheld, the bond amount will be forfeited. If the citation is dismissed, the bond amount will be refunded.
- If you logged in with a NetID or UW Health ID, bond payment is not required for a first-level appeal.
- If you logged in as a guest, you will be required to submit a cash bond in the amount of the citation or payment with the citation appeal. You may need to log back in to the guest account after paying the bond to complete the appeal. If the citation is upheld, the bond amount will be forfeited. If the citation is dismissed, the bond amount will be refunded.
