How to begin a ParkMobile session on the website

This document explains how to begin a ParkMobile session on a web browser. ParkMobile is a payment service Flex Surface permit parking in an assigned lot, after-hours Flex parking in alternate surface lots, and visitor parking in timed stalls on the UW-Madison campus.
  1. Go to parkmobile.io and sign in to your account.

  2. After logging in, click Park Now near the upper right corner of the screen.

  3. Enter the zone code and click Confirm Zone.

    How to find your zone code:

    1. Flex permit holders: the code is located on your parking permit. Use this code for parking in your assigned lot or parking in an alternate lot after hours.
    2. Flex Accessible permit holders always use zone code 25099.
    3. If you are parking in a timed stall, the code is located on the stall sign.

  4. If a window pops up showing multiple cities associated with your zone code, be sure to select UW Madison. Then click Confirm Zone.

  5. Enter the length of time you plan to park. Then click Continue.

    Important things to note:

    • It is recommended to choose By the hour and minute and an estimated parking time. Selecting Maximum Parking Time may result in non-refundable charges in excess of the actual time you plan to park.
    • Flex permit holders can use the app to extend their parking session if needed.
    • Those parking in timed parking stalls may not extend a parking session or park longer than the time posted on the stall sign.
    • ParkMobile will not allow time entries, whether full or partial, outside the range of the lot's enforcement hours. You only need to be in paid status during enforcement hours.

  6. Choose the vehicle you will be parking on campus (or add a new one), and click Continue.

  7. Choose a saved payment method (or add a new one), and click Continue.

  8. Review the parking time, vehicle information, and payment information. Then click Start Parking to begin the session.
