Broad considerations in use of NTK data

Both NTK datasets (NTK1 and NTK2) were analyzed at the laboratory of Henrik Zetterberg and Kaj Blennow. These two batches have overlapping analyte panels, and share some of the same participants. However, NTK1 includes older (pre-12/2018) samples that were aliquoted into a different tube type no longer in use. In addition, the NTK1 dataset includes results from the Gen1 amyloid beta assays, whereas NTK2 results were obtained from Gen2. In general it is not advised to use these datasets in combination, with the exception of binary indicator variables, which were derived on a per-cohort basis.

Broad considerations in use of MSD data

The Auger MSD platform was initially utilized to calibrate other pTau217 assays. The current preferred platform is the Quanterix HD-X.
