Overview

WiscWeb sites built in UW Theme 2.0 live in completely separate infrastructure from your old UW Theme Classic sites. Therefore, these new sites:

1. Require a separate login (i.e., You cannot find UW Theme 2.0 sites by logging into wiscweb.wisc.edu/wp-admin)

2. Will not show up in your old My WiscWeb Sites list

After you’ve migrated all of your UW Theme Classic sites to UW Theme 2.0, these will all appear in your UW Theme 2.0 site list. 

Locating site lists for UW Theme Classic sites

There won’t be a single location for both your UW Theme Classic and UW Theme 2.0 sites. Each will have their own site lists in the dashboard. For UW Theme Classic sites, you can find this list by: 

1. Logging into the site

2. Clicking on My WiscWeb Sites in the top left corner of the dashboard
   
   

Locating site lists for UW Theme 2.0 sites

Your new UW Theme 2.0 sites will appear in an entirely different location than your old UW Theme Classic sites. For UW Theme 2.0 sites, you can find the site list by: 

1. Logging into the site

2. Clicking on My Sites in the top left corner of the dashboard
   
   

Tips for tracking your WiscWeb sites

• If you aren’t sure if the site is in UW Theme Classic or UW Theme 2.0, use WiscWeb - Differentiating between UW Theme Classic and UW Theme 2.0.
  
  

• Bookmark your site URLs so that you can always find them

  • If you append /wp-admin to the end of the site URL, you can login to any WiscWeb site - regardless of which theme is in use.
    
    

• Create and maintain a spreadsheet of your site URLs and login links for tracking until you’ve migrated all sites over to UW Theme 2.0.
