App and Device Options

Pricing and Feature Comparison

The following device options include an "ease of use" rating based user testing.
Option Compatibility Ease of Use
Duo Mobile App Mobile and desktop authentication

Very easy to use

Once installed, the mobile app gives the choice between entering a passcode or receiving an "approve/deny" notification for authentication.

The mobile app was accessibility tested and should work using your screen reader. The app notification appears on your smartphone. Clicking approve will approve authentication.
Token/Fob Mobile and desktop authentication

Easy to use

A passcode is read off of the device and then entered into the authentication field.

Some may have difficulty reading the token code within the allotted time and syncing to their account.
