EMS Reservation Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some answers to frequently asked questions regarding reserving spaces using EMS

Why am I not seeing a room that I would expect to see?
- Check your filters, the room you are looking for may not meet your specifications
- If you still believe there is an error, contact the EMS Coordinator for the space you are trying to book
If I book similar events often, how can I make the reservation creation process less tedious?
- Create a Location Filter
- Click Locations, enter your desired location filters, then Save Filters
- To utilize these in the future, click the Saved Filters button in the top right corner.
- You can also book from this screen if the space allows it. Click the spot on the calendar that you would like to reserve and fill out the Create a New Reservation window that appears
- These can be updated at any time by clicking your name in the top right corner > My Account > Personalization > Filters
- Create Template Defaults - Defaults set for specific Reservation Templates - Can be overridden at any time
- Click on your name in the top right corner > My Account > Personalization > Templates
- Scroll through till you find the template that you want to set defaults on
- Click the edit button to set your defaults for when you use that template.
- Create Favorite Rooms
- Click on your name in the top right corner > My Account > My Favorite Rooms
- Begin typing the name of the room you are looking for. After 3 characters, the field will start to generate suggestions
- If there are too many results, you can filter by location as well
- These can be utilized during the reservation room search by clicking the Favorite Rooms Only above the calendar view for the rooms
- Click on your name in the top right corner > My Account > My Favorite Rooms
Why am I not seeing the reservation I just requested?
- Your reservation will not show up on the schedule until your request is approved.
Where can I find policies for different units that use EMS?
- Find the unit link HERE to see specific information pertaining to them.
Where can I get help?
- Users with general EMS usage questions can contact the DoIT Help Desk
- Users with questions pertaining to a specific Reservation Template or unit policy, please contact the EMS Coordinator for that space
