Safari (Mac) - Checking for a Proxy

This document describes how to check for a proxy in Safari for Mac OS X.

Note: The screenshots below are from Safari 10, however, the steps also apply to older versions of Safari.

  1. With Safari running, click Safari in your menu bar, then Preferences.

  2. Click the Advanced tab, then press the Change Settings... button.

  3. Under Select a protocol to configure:, make sure no boxes are checked.
