My UW System Portal - Getting help with My UW System Portal
Due to the large number of campuses that use the MyUW System Portal and the amount of content that can vary from campus to campus, there is more than one group that provides support for the MyUW System Portal. This document explains who to contact depending on the campus and nature of the issue.
Username or password issues
Username or password issues are handled by the local campus. See UW System - IT Help Desks Contact Information for a list of help desks for each campus.
Search the Knowledge Base
The MyUW System Portal has an ever-improving Knowledge Base available. The KB has fixes and workarounds for lots of common issues, as well as plenty of how-to information.
Still having issues?
The MyUW System Portal is supported by the DoIT Help Desk for the majority of campuses that use it. However, local campus helps desks support the MyUW System Portal for some schools:
UW River Falls
UW River Falls users should contact the Division of Technology Services (DoTS).
All Other Campuses
All other campuses are supported by the DoIT Help Desk at 608-264-HELP (608-264-4357, select option 2) or toll free at 888-435-7589 (select option 2), via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or via chat.
