Maple at UW-Madison

This document explains the current state of Maple and associated features at UW-Madison. 
Maple is a math engine that analyzes, visualizes, and solves mathematical problems.

Eligibility

Facstaff are eligible for Maple access if they are in a University-paid position

Students are not eligible for Maple access.

Facstaff access at UW-Madison

Faculty and staff can access Maple through the downloads on the Campus Software Library.  The download and license key is available after NetID login.  If you are installing Maple on a personal computer, please use the Homeuse License Key.

 

Student access at UW-Madison

Students are not licensed for Maple through the Campus Software Library.  Students can purchase annual academic licenses directly through MapleSoft here: MapleSoft Webstore

 

What's included in Maple for UW-Madison

Maple licensing includes support from the vendor, on demand training, webinars, and software version updates.

Licensing Models

UW-Madison licenses Maple for individual installation for Faculty and Staff, as well as concurrent installation for lab environments.
