Wireless UWNet - Types of Access
This document describes the different types of wireless access provided on the UW campus.
UWNet
- SSID: UWNet
- Also known as: Aruba, New Wireless, Upgraded Wireless
- Locations: Campus buildings broadcasting the SSID of UWNet with no building name appended at the end
- Includes NetID or guest login (replaces separate guest wireless system)

UWNet Legacy System
- SSID: UWNet-BuildingName
- Also known as: Cisco, classic wireless, legacy wireless
- Locations: Campus buildings broadcasting the SSID UWNet-BuildingName
