Campus Active Directory - Requesting a new Organizational Unit (OU) or changes to OU administrator accounts

This document outlines the process of requesting an Organizational Unit (OU) or changes to OU administrator accounts in Campus Active Directory.

Requests are submitted through the Organizational Unit Requests form (UW-Madison login required). Forms should be submitted by the IT manager who is ultimately responsible for the OU. One request can be submitted at a time.

Once the form is submitted, requests are tracked and managed through a ticketing system. The CADS team generally addresses requests within 3-5 business days. If an OU administrator account needs to be disabled immediately, please contact the CADS team directly after completing the form.
