Prevent Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence at UW-Madison for Faculty and Staff [UW-Madison]

The "Prevent Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence at UW-Madison for Faculty and Staff" course is required for all UW-Madison faculty, academic staff, university staff, and limited appointees. Most people will complete an online version of the course, although an in-person version is being made available for some employees.

Register for the Course

Registration for the online training is hosted by the Office of Human Resources (OHR), Learning and Talent Development (LTD). Employees will receive an invitation link to register for the training course through LTD, or can request access to the course from their manager, supervisor, or HR partner. Once registered, employees will receive a notification of enrollment in Workday or visit their Learning Transcript. 

Check Your Completion Status

Follow the steps below to check that your completion has been recorded in your Learning Transcript:

  1. Visit your Learning Home in Workday
  2. Click on ‘My Transcript’
  3. After logging in, you will see the course in either ‘Not Started’, ‘In Progress’, or ‘Learning History’ tables. Each course in your transcript is assigned a ‘Completion Status’ value that can be easily found between ‘Date Enrolled’ and ‘Attendance Status’. If successfully completed, your course will also have a ‘Completion Date and Time’ and an ‘Expiration Date’.

Please note, the LTD system will update overnight. If you do not see your completion record after 24hrs, please confirm that you have taken both the training module and the training quiz in Workday. You must take both for your completion to be reflected. If you have any questions, please contact titleix_coordinator@wisc.edu.

Periodic reminders will be sent to employees to enroll and complete the training by the stated deadline. Completion data will be provided to the Office of Compliance, Deans and Directors, and the Title IX Coordinator on a regular basis to ensure the campus is meeting its training obligation in this area.
