Windows/Mac - How to Check the System Information

This document explains how users can check the amount of RAM installed and other system information details, such as the processor speed, on Windows and Mac.

Windows 10 and 11

  1. Open Settings.
  2. On the left-hand side, select System.
  3. Click About.
  4. In the About section, system information will be displayed as shown in the image below. The amount of RAM can be found under Device specifications, beside Installed RAM:

Mac OS Systems

  1. Click the Apple icon in the top left corner. 
  2. Select About This Mac.

    Click Apple, then About This Mac.

  3. Click More Info... to see the system specifications, such as the memory (RAM) and operating system (OS):
