Terra Dotta - How to Login
Terra Dotta is a tool that monitors student enrollment and visa status, which is essential for many international students and staff. It can be found at either terradotta.wisc.edu or through its MyUW app.
Finding Terra Dotta on MyUW
On MyUW, search for Terra Dotta.
Launch the full app from search, or select "Details" and launch from there.

If your NetID has been set up to access Terra Dotta, you will see a portal for Incoming Students, Current F & J students, and Scholars & Employees.

Logging In
To access most of the site, students will need to login. Students can go directly to the login by clicking on either “NON-UW-Madison LOGIN” or “LOGIN” in the upper-right corner of the initial screen.
If students attempt to directly access a part of the site that requires login without first logging in, the security screen will open, see below.
- New students/applicants who have activated their NetIDs and current students will use the NetID login option.
- New students/applicants who have not yet activated their NetID can login using the instructions sent by their admitting office for the second option.
