On Thursday, May 3, from 4:30am-5:00am, DoIT Network Services will be swapping back in our normal peering router. During the router swap, all Internet/Internet2/Wiscnet connectivity will be lost for about 5-10 minutes.
On Thursday, May 3, from 4:30am-5:00am, DoIT Network Services will be swapping back in our normal peering router. During the router swap, all Internet/Internet2/Wiscnet connectivity will be lost for about 5-10 minutes. Over the past year, DoIT has been evaluating next generation routers, in order to be able to keep pace with, and improve connectivity to, the Internet and Internet2. Our evaluations are complete, and a new Peering router will be permanently installed over the summer. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.
