eText & DLTs - Scheduled Update to Pearson, October 26

On Saturday, October 26, 2019 12:00 AM through 8:00 AM, Pearson will be updating several of their systems to improve performance and security. All higher ed digital products from Pearson will be completely inaccessible during this time.

This includes the following Pearson digital learning tools (DLTs): MyLab, MyLabsPlus, Mastering, Modified Mastering, Learning Studio, Revel, eText, Learning Applications, Pearson Writer, Pearson Reader, Statcrunch, Coachmarks, Feedback, Registrar Reports, and Lever courses

Engage pilot participants not using a Pearson DLT will not be affected by this outage.

During this planned outage, all Pearson DLT users will not be able to sign in or access their courses, create or copy courses, or sync grades with Canvas. If any users try to access Pearson materials during this time, they will see a splash page explaining that Pearson is conducting maintenance if the content is located outside of Canvas. If the content is integrated with Canvas, those users will most likely see an error message to the effect that the course cannot be found. Please do not try to access or work on your courses during the maintenance window.

Pearson will post in-product messages 72 hours prior to the October 26 event. Messages will also be posted to Twitter, @PearsonSupport, and on the Pearson Support webpage.
