On Sunday, May 20, System Operations will be powering down one of the rooms in the Data Center to connect a new Power Distribution Unit. The outage is scheduled for 0500-0900 and will affect numerous DoIT servers, including those that run Clarify.
On Sunday, May 20, DoIT System Operations will be powering down one of the rooms in the Data Center in order to connect a new Power Distribution Unit. The outage is scheduled for 0500-0900, but the work is expected to be completed by 0700. The servers in the room will be powered down prior to the electrical work and brought up immediately afterward.
Numerous servers and applications will be affected (including Clarify), but the work will not affect campus network connectivity, DSL or cable modem customers. A complete list of affected servers is available here.
