Impacts of ShopUW+ launch

ShopUW+ has been launched for employees at UW-Madison and UW System campuses, resulting in older apps and tools being decommissioned in MyUW including the External Requisition Generator (decommissioned on 4/5/21), Shop@UW Tile (removing on 5/4/21), and the Internal Requisition Generator (decommissioning August 2021). The HD should direct employees who ask where old services or apps went to https://shopuwplus.wisc.edu/ and direct questions or issues to uwsaproblemsolvers@uwsa.edu or by phone at (608)263-3100.
As part of the Procure-to-Pay Automation Project, all UW System institutions are partnering to transform purchasing and accounts payable systems by implementing a future state procure-to-pay solution. The Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Automation Project will significantly improve the end-user experience by making it easier to place and track orders. This project also aims to improve the quantity and quality of data, streamline business processes and facilitate strategic sourcing.
ShopUW+, UW System’s new cloud-based purchasing and payables platform, was launched on April 16 as part of the P2P project. The tile is available in MyUW by Searching ShopUW+. Users can choose to add it to their home layout.

There are quick links to login, get started, login to training and receive customer support. This implementation has resulted in the depreciation, decommissioning and phasing out of older tools, including:
- The External Requisition Generator, which was available via the "Requisition and Number Generator" Tile in MyUW. This application was decommissioned on 4/5/21.
- The Internal Requisition Generator will continue to be available via the "Requisition and Number Generator" Tile in MyUW until some time in August 2021.
- The Shop@UW Tile and application will be decommissioned on 5/4/21. Users should be redirected to ShopUW+ (https://shopuwplus.wisc.edu/)
