Two small quirks have been discovered with the new NetID system.

There has been a quirk discovered with passwords and NetID activation. If a student activates an account using a password that contains a space, the activation will go through. However, the system will drop everything after the space. For example, if bucky badger was used as a password the system would abbreviate it to just bucky. To login the user will have to use the abbreviated password.

Another issue that has arisen is that the single login process had to be disabled. This means that users will have to login separately to My UW Madison, mail and calendar. Also this means they will have to logout of each system separately. A more integrated solution is being worked on however there is no estimate on when it will be finished.
