This spring we had approximately 1800 classlists. Currently, we are only able to maintain classlists for two semesters at a time. Due to this limitation, please note the important information below.

This spring we had approximately 1800 classlists. Now that some of the summer sessions have started, new summer classlists are being created and used. Currently, we are only able to maintain classlists for two semesters at a time. Due to this limitation, please note the important information below:

  1. Spring classlists will be disabled and deleted as of the close of business June 16, 2000. If you would like a copy of student names and email addresses for your specific classlist, and you are the primary professor teaching the class, please send an email to adminlist@lists.students.wisc.edu by June 14.

  2. If you want to create a new fall classlist prior to June 17, you MUST make sure to change to classlist name if you created the same list for spring. After June 17, when spring lists no longer exist, you may use the identical list name.

  3. Currently, lists are being updated Monday through Saturday, but there is no email notification regarding updates sent to classlist owners. These emails regarding updates will resume on June 19th.

At the beginning of each semester its very important to make an announcement to your class about your expectations and proper use of these lists. You should also inform students that they must have their current and preferred email address on file with the Registrar's office.
